Practitioner Diploma in Qi Gong

    

Entry: Appropriate life experience; no previous practitioner experience or science qualification required.

Length of study: 1 year part tim efor each level. Each year can stand alone, or make up part of the 3 year course

Mode of study: Year 1 & 2 Sundays, Year 3 Saturdays

Point of entry: September

Attendance: Year 1: 15 Sundays, Year 2; 12 days attendance in year 2, including one five-day intensive block, Year 3: 12 Saturdays

Course description: Certificated Professional Practitioner Diploma course in Qi Gong. This course can be studied by practitioners to improve their understanding and use of qi in the treatment room, based on a broad Chinese medicine diagnosis. Non-practitioners can also access this course for self-healing.

Course content: Introduction to meditative postures, visualisations and sets of movements for healing the self and others. Also includes energetic physiology, an introduction to The Classics, Qi Gong massage, the I Ching for diagnosis, Qi Gong healing and lifestyle cultivation.

Qualifications:

  • Practitioner Diploma in Qi Gong
  • Membership of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)
  • Membership of the International Council of Holistic Therapists (MICHT)

Introducing NEW 5 session introductory course to Qi Gong

(For beginners and chinese medicine practitioners)

Attendance: First 5 sessions of 3 year Practitioner Diploma in Qi Gong course. Sundays 9.30am - 5pm starting Sunday 10th October.

Course Content: This course highlights Qi Gong as an important branch of Chinese medicine and a treatment modality in its own right. It will provide an excellent introduction to this dynamic style for those who have not practised Qi Gong before, but is also suitable for more experienced practitioners.

At the end of the 5 sessions, you will have the option to continue on the full Diploma course.
