Graduates
When you graduate from LCTA, you could be forgiven for thinking that your involvement with us ends there. It doesn’t! Our graduates keep in touch with us long after they leave, sometimes just writing to us from time to time, but often within a more structured framework. See the Graduate Support section to find out more about the various types of support available to you. You can also find information in this section on our postgraduate courses, details and dates of Amanda Ody’s Graduate Days and Andy Kemp’s yearly China trip.
It’s good to keep in touch and we are always thrilled to hear how you are doing in your practice and if there is anything we can do to help you. If you want to let us know how you are doing and to share your experiences with us please do call or e-mail the college on 020 8446 3332 or college@lcta.com, we love hearing from you.

Originally from the USA, James Livingstone (above) graduated in Acupuncture at LCTA in September 2003. On returning home he completed a Masters Degree and sat the national board exams, as required by most states for licensure. Writing from Florida, USA he says:
“Greetings to everyone at LCTA. I am working on creating work, but I repeat my mantra of ‘slowly but surely’. These things take time and I am slowly growing my practice. It reminds me of something I read from Jamie Hedger saying, ‘I went to America to make my fortune, and found it easier to lose it.’ Of course, I also think of the wisdom I got from Dr Jin before I left, in the form of an ancient Chinese proverb: ‘The local snake will always win over the foreign dragon’. He meant that being known is better than being skilled. At least I am local!” |
