The People

We believe our teaching team is unique, special and dynamic. Most of our teachers and clinical supervisors have more than 15 years' experience as practitioners and are trained in several disciplines. The majority have a sophisticated understanding of complementary medicine as well as orthodox medicine, having trained in both the Orient and the UK. Almost all have qualifications and experience in teaching, as well as maintaining a medical practice. We are proud to have a team who practise and teach ‘integrated medicine’, synthesising the best of the west and east into a coherent and workable holistic system. Indeed, many of our teachers have both a national and international reputation in their field.

Our lecturers' knowledge and enthusiasm for their subject goes a long way towards producing the approachable, stimulating atmosphere between students and staff. Our students really notice and appreciate this.
