Just before the Election was announced Andy Burnham issued a Press Release stating that he was "minded" to "legislate" Chinese Medicine via the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
Since Andy Burnham's party are no longer in power, and in light of the fact that matters had progressed no further than the "minded" stage, there is obviously scope for the new Government to take a different tack.
LCTA CONTINUES NEW STUDENT DISCOUNTS £500 OFF FEES UNTIL END OF JUNE

LCTA is continuing its special discount to new students enrolling to start this September. New students can now receive £500 off the first year’s course fees to students enrolling for Acupuncture or Tui Na beginner’s courses starting in October 2010 and paying their first year’s fees in full by 30th June2010.
LCTA INTRODUCES GROUND-BREAKING MASTERS IN CHINESE MEDICINE

The London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (LCTA) has introduced a Masters Degree in Chinese Medicine.
The course, which will be available to study from September 2010, will enable Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioners to gain an MSc by researching an aspect of TCM that is of specific interest to them in their practice, whilst continuing to treat their patients.
